SUMMARY: Whitney Murphy and her mother volunteer at Crossett's Food Pantry, and she wanted to help more families in need by providing hams for the holidays. Over the past two years, she has raised money through fundraisers, such as selling cookbooks and T-shirts, and writing letters to businesses for donations. Thanks to Whitney's efforts, the pantry was able to give out over 300 hams this year, compared to less than 50 in previous years. People lined up for miles to receive hams, and Whitney loves being able to give back to her community.
