Tonight, McNeese head coaches Will Wade and Gary Goff threw the first pitches for college night, discussing the positive community impact and team chemistry fostered by the Gators. Despite their unsuccessful throws, they emphasized the communal spirit and entertainment provided by the team. Fans also watched the Gators take on the Cane Cutters, a game delayed by rain. William Good's near-score was halted by a slip, but pitcher Parker Morgan excelled, helping the Gators lead 3-1 in the ninth inning through a strong eighth inning.
